Spacious, comfy, sturdy.
I bought my small rucksack as a replacement for a handbag - leaving me hands free, about 10 years ago and it has been amazing. Tough, durable, pretty turquoise colour and so useful. Looking for another now as the main zip is starting to split occasionally.

This one fills my needs perfect. Quiet narrow so I don't bump in to people on the bus or in the subway. Plenty of storage though, two large zippered compartments on the front are great, perfect for your book, ereader, tablet, headphones, bike lights, keys etc. Really nice material and the best part, you don't look like a mountaineer.

I’d ordered a bag for my husband as a gift but the size wasn’t quite right so I returned it and ordered a different one with no hassle at all. The bag is really well made and has transformed our travels - he no longer pesters me for his phone, glasses or passport!

I purchased this for myself after having a lackluster-to-miserable experience with a similar bag from another brand. The Troop London Classic Canvas Across Body Bag (I purchased the blue one) is perfect for my needs. I love the color. But what sets this bag apart from others is the quality of materials: the strong canvas and the brass-plated and leather details/trim. Here in Missoula, Montana (US), I'm getting many compliments on the bag. But what really counts is the bag's superb quality. It is worth every penny I paid for it; the timely (and free) shipping was a plus. This was my first Troop purchase; I expect to make other purchases in the future.
I initially came across this brand in a small shop in Lynton, immediately caught my eye….Style, material, craftsmanship and functionality.

My bag is fantastic! Great size to hold my everyday essentials e.g. purse, diary, glasses, phone, keys etc but doesn’t look or feel cumbersome.

Love this bag. I have had my smaller version for at least 15 years, I have only upsized as I needed to get medication and disabled card fits perfectly in bag. Also my mobile fits well into this size. I do prefer the metal stud on the old one. Not keen on velcro on anything I purchase. I also have a back pack for other trips. I am a Troop fan as great quality and casual style
Thank you. I got the same'ish bag years ago at a little shop in Newquay. The zip eventually went (wear and tear) but now I can order online I could pick a colour. Really pleased. Love the bags. Showerproof with great compartments and a great strap, like a seatbelt strap. Comfortable to wear and secure. Probably get Troop bags now for as long as they exist.
The rucksack I got from Troop is beautifully made, with fantastic quality of materials and built for purpose with every consideration for its uses. Such great style ☺️ I received it promptly and in excellent condition and I could not have wished for better service as well.
I've had one of the larger Troop across body bags for a few years; it's not a current model and the flap is all leather. It's nice, very roomy, but I decided bigger than I now want to use day to day.
After looking at the TRP0239 - and the 238 and 237 - I thought this would be just the right size, and I liked the many pockets (similar, in fact, to my existing, larger, troop bag). However when I received the bag it quickly became clear that it's just too small.
It won't take my normal A5 notebook that has a spiral binding. The pocket for the mobile phone in the outer section is just tiny; I can't see any phone made in the last 5 years fitting. I did get my Samsung Galaxy to fit by cutting the stitching between the phone pocket and the first of the pen pockets. And although the gusset zip is potentially useful the mouth of the bag limits what size items can be put in.
It's well made, the different pockets are useful but frankly what the bag carries comfortably could fit into a couple of trouser back pockets.
Disappointed.

Bought this smaller cross body bag for my 9yr old grandson who wanted a bag the same as his dads (but smaller). Really good quality, well made and robust. Am now looking for a Troop bag for myself!
Lovely bag with very practical and well positioned compartments. Easy to carry across body or as a shoulder bag.
Perfect for taking my laptop and work papers back and forth for teleworking and business trips. Much more functional and stylish than my old backpack. Construction is great and seems very sturdy. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.
